A little bit of bitterness since valentine's day is coming...

We as human beings experience suffering and pain until we reach certain point where we can no longer bear this pain, so we decide to quit our emotions, and when that happens, we are just like dead inside. We cover with chains and lock our heart and keep the key to ourselves. That¡s basically the message behind it.

I'm experimenting with a different color pallette here to try to evoke old memories as well as some, not very positive, feelings.

Beautiful, I like everything, colors, vintage look and esp look in her eyes.

About your text, I'm right now in such situation. But I wouldn't completely agree with you. You can lock your heart but not be dead inside. At least I think so. I know that I don't want to love ever again but I don't feel that I'm dead

Well, you're absolutly right, you can still be in pain but still live. I guess it depends on the situation and the person who's going through that painful moment, some people respond better, others just shut down their emotions completely. I think you can feel dead for a certain period in your life, but you'll feel better eventually because time heals everything
